Lagos Police Area ‘G’ Celebrates Five Retiring Officers: 35 Years of Meritorious Service

In a landmark celebration, the Lagos State Area ‘G’ Police Command honoured five distinguished officers who have served the Federal Republic of Nigeria meritoriously for 35 years on the 4th of September, 2026.

Hosted by the Area Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Veronica Ameh, the event took place at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) open field, where colleagues, family members and well-wishers gathered to celebrate the retirees:

Other special guests included Nollywood veteran actress Anne Njemanze (a.k.a. Domitilla), Divisional Police Officers under the area command as well as the Registrar of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Mrs. Patricia Kalesanwo and the institute’s PRO, Mr. Tolulope Ojemuyiwa. The event ended with gift presentations and taking of commemorative photographs.
